Local businesses want in on game day

Season Pass and Chamber pools include a sponsor banner — "This pool is proudly presented by Joe's Pizza." Organizers sell that spot to a local business for $50–$100, and every dollar goes straight to the cause, on top of the pool itself. It's the easiest sponsorship a local business will say yes to all year.

Frequently asked questions

Do you take a cut of the money raised?

Never. HometownSquares never touches the money at all. Participants pay organizers directly through Venmo, PayPal, CashApp, or Zelle, and organizers pay winners directly. We charge for software, not a percentage of your pot.

Do participants need to create an account or pay you anything?

No. Participants just tap a square and enter their name and email. It's always free for them, on every plan.

What does "provably fair" mean?

Numbers are drawn randomly by our system only after every square is claimed, and the draw is timestamped and can never be re-done. Nobody — not even the organizer — can pick or change the numbers.

Is this legal for our fundraiser?

HometownSquares is a scorekeeping and organizing tool. Because rules for charitable gaming and raffles vary by state and town, organizers are responsible for following their local laws. Many states have simple registration processes for nonprofit gaming — check with your town or city clerk.

Can we try the Season Pass features first?

Your first pool is free with the core features. If you upgrade mid-season, your Season Pass applies to your existing pools too.

What if our Chamber supports more than one community?

That's common — talk to us and we'll set up pricing that fits your footprint. Chambers covering multiple towns or a large member base may be quoted above the starting rate.

Can we cancel anytime?

Yes. Season Passes are one-time purchases for the season. Chamber plans are month-to-month unless you choose the annual rate.
