No legal advice. Nothing on this site — including guides, FAQs, examples, or default settings — is legal, tax, or financial advice. Laws on pools, raffles, and charitable gaming vary by state and locality and change over time. Organizers must verify the rules that apply to them, which in many places involves their state gaming authority or town/city clerk, and should consult a qualified attorney with questions.

Third-party payment services. References to Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, Zelle, or similar services identify payment methods chosen by organizers. Those services are owned by their respective companies and governed by their own terms. We are not affiliated with them.
